The RSPCA Harrogate and District Branch is independently run and is self-financing. The branch is entirely dependent on the goodwill and generosity of the local community. Animals come into our care for a variety of reasons and we endeavour to give them the best of care until we find loving new homes for them. However, it becomes increasingly difficult to raise the funds we need to carry out our work and would respectfully ask you to consider leaving a gift to the branch in your Will. A legacy or bequest to the RSPCA Harrogate and District Branch will provide crucial funds – we could not carry out our work without such generous support. A registered charity is exempt from inheritance and capital gains taxes. A gift to the RSPCA Harrogate and District Branch would therefore be tax-exempt and would greatly benefit our charity without placing a burden on your estate.
